Puro Consulting is an independent engineering practice based in New York, NY, led by Jeffrey Puro.
The practice has been delivering production software since 1999 — through J2EE and Struts, Spring and Hibernate, AngularJS and React, and for the last several years Go microservices at scale. That arc matters, because most real systems are a layer cake of eras, and modernizing one means understanding all of them.
The work spans four years on the HBO GO platform owning the content catalog and mobile-facing services; the Fixed Income High Net Worth application used daily by 12,000+ CitiGroup advisers; a multi-camera live streaming platform on Go, Kafka and EKS; and the core Go services behind the Salido restaurant point-of-sale, including its reservation and online ordering integrations.
Engagements run from architecture review through full greenfield delivery. Remote-first, with on-site availability in the New York metro area.
